072 cow elk success!!

Here is my cow that I shot on the 12th. We talked to 10-15 other people and they all said that there were no cows in the area. Got up saturday morning and hiked in just 2 miles, elk were everywhere! Just goes to show what alittle bit of work will do for ya! She made the 2 mile packout worth it!!

Congrats NV!! I love hearing stories like this, going the extra mile (literally) is definitely worth it, especially when it comes to hunting. Nice cow!

Congrats NVbowhnter, good job going the extra distance. Folks up here in NE Nevada don't like to leave the truck/UTV so finding an area without road access will always produce multiple elk. Good thinking buddy!!
