I remember him saying he had a lot going on and was working a lot, but it'd still be nice to hear from him every once in a while.
Seems funny, but I think of a lot of us forum regulars as 'family'.

I know more about some of the folks on the forum and their families and such than a lot of my local contacts. Made a lot of friends that I keep in touch with outside of this forum.
I guess we (on forum) have more in common than my locals. :-)

If I had time I’d drive up to Colfax Wa and hunt him down. I’d just look for the Ford with an old 30-30 in the gunrack. Wait, there’s probably a lot of those in Colfax....I know, the one with a rattle snake killing shovel in the back.

I have about 150 miles on the new engine in the blue truck. Man that truck is whisper quiet, I may take up road hunting. I think I’d be more stealthily driving it around than walking around with my squeaky Kuiu pack on my back.

The engine might purr like a kitten but how about all the rest of the creeks and groans of a older truck?

It’s a quiet as a church mouse. I drive a 2017 GMC for work and it squeaks more. I’m very surprised how good of shape this truck Is.

I do hear a little air in either the window or doors when driving down the highway but that’s it. I had to replace a couple speakers that were blown out that were annoying. It has the original radio and cassette player, I’m keeping it that way.
