Won't be much guidance as far as the western states go but I can give some insight into hunting south western BC, Canada, the Kootenay region including the Purcell and Selkirk Rockies. Welcome to the forum. I spent a year touring Australia on a holiday working visa back in 1994/95. Bought an old Toyota at auction in Melbourne and put 60,000km+ on it, went right round the place and down the middle. Had an absolute blast. Met what turned out to be my wife in Broome, she was also travelling(her second time there for six months). Love your country. Hope to make it back some time once the kids have moved out and we're a bit more free with our time again.

    Greetings Grant -

Greg Dening was a brilliant Australian historian, love his work. Any hunting info you'd like on Oregon let me know, and thank you for giving the film world 'Mad Max' and 'Chopper.'
