And We Wonder Why Some General Public Hates Hunting....

    https://www.outsideonline.com/239076...e%20Wolf%20926

Ya know...I really like this magazine. They do tons of great articles on living your life to the fullest and being outdoors while doing it, but these types of articles peave me. I feel like when you personalize a wild animal to this level the general public no longer sees it as just that. No matching life chronicle for the cow elk that it killed.

Is this a subliminal shot at law-abiding hunters or was I just in a bad mood today when I read this? Either way it kind of hit a nerve.

    Rant over

When all the trees have been cut down, when all the animals have been hunted, when all the waters are polluted, when all the air is unsafe to breathe, only then will you discover you cannot eat money.

This wolf given the chance would have killed, ate, and pooped this writer out without ever shedding a tear about it.

I read it and I didn't see it as a shot at hunters. He was just detailing the life of an animal he was obviously fascinated with.

Thought it was interesting, didn't see any anti hunting angle. They seemed to give a realistic perspective of death.

To the OP, did you feel the same way about Brutus the elk as he had a lot of fans as well.
