Long time hunter with recurve and longbow. Rifle hunt depending on tags drawn. Steelhead and salmon fishing is an addiction when not hunting. Retired from a large timber company on the west side of the state. Married to a great lady for 41 years who also likes the outdoors. We have 2 sons in law enforcement and five grandkids that keep us busy. We have a large garden every year and can our own pickles, beans, salsa, tomato sauce and our version of V8 juice. Marion berries, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries and corn is frozen each year. When tuna is in off the coast we will can that as well.
Currently a buddy and I have accumulated 8 points each for both deer and antelope in Wyoming. We are starting to do some research but have yet to decide whether to try a combo hunt or hunt deer one year and come back the following year for antelope.
I'm looking forward to getting any advise that people are willing to give. Anyone that may be interested in fishing or hunting Oregon feel free to contact me.
