What a proud moment for you and the young man. The smile on his face says it all, I'm sure your smile was just as big.

Awesome time with our son Deep. I remember my sons hunts like they were yesterday. They all trump my self 'trophy' hunts for sure.
Congrats to your son. Enjoy because he'll be all grown up in the blink of an eye.

Got my son's deer cut up yesterday. He said dad, what can we make with the scraps so I can take stuff to school in my lunch? Lol. 2 flavors of snap sticks, and some jalapeno and cheddar salami are on the radar to Make next weekend.

Thanks everyone for the congratulations, it was an awesome experience!!

Great story! First bucks are always a fantastic event to share with our kids. I admire his spunk for wanting to haul the deer out by himself. It won't be too many years until he can do just that. Then he's gonna want the biggest steak on the grill!
