Displaying onX map on Garmin64 st

    guys-

I have the onX chip properly installed and 'enabled', but cannot yet crack how to actually view the map on my GPS screen. Any fellow Garmin 64st owners care to lend an assist here? I do plan on calling onX for 1-1 support also.

    thanks

It should just fire right up if it is installed properly.

    Give them a call.

Have you tried it on a computer that has Base Camp installed?

Thanks Jim - yeah it's awesome on my PC, I just can't display it on the GPS. I brought the thing to work with me and I'll call them at lunch.

Have you had others that worked on the GPS? It might be the GPS itself. You might also want to call Garmin.

I know on mine I just drop the chip in and turn it on.

You have to zoom in close enough for the map to show up. If it's an Oregon chip and you're in OR it should show, if it's for another state, you'll have to zoom in to a location.

I have that GPS and I also just dropped in the chip and turned it on. Works fine. Better call Garmin.
