Do you need any more volunteers to work? I have a son that can do admin items, set up....etc etc.

Just curious how long these events normally last, time-wise? I'm still hobbling around in a leg brace, and my attention span is usually limited to "how close am I to my next Ibuprofen feeding?"

    Thanks,

    Ray

As long or as short as you want it to be.
If you put all your tickets in on stuff, and want to see all the items auctioned off.......then I'd say 3 hours normally.

Thanks Slugz. I just bought a supporting membership for my 21-year-old son, so hopefully he'll want to go with me too.

As long as you are just taking Ibuprofen I'd say just take a dose of them with you to the banquet as a just in case.

The last one that I went to started around 5pm and went to 11pm. But that was a lot of socializing with others.

Anything that you can do to please the wife earns you man points.

Not to mention that these banquets are a lot of fun watching people spend money. Just remember that when the auction starts to sit on your hands or place them into your pockets to see how much money you have.

Used the oldest trick in the book. Bribed my neighbor with free food! See you there.
