    Books on Bowhunting

I'd like to learn a little about bowhunting. I'm thinking of getting into it, but I've never done it before. Does anyone have a recommendation on a good book or two I could read?

Dwight Schuh and Duncan Gilchrist are 2 of my favorite hunting authors, but I am not sure they have anything specific to bow hunting.

A couple of my favorite bowhunting books are: "Hunting Open Country Mule Deer" by Dwight Schuh and "Bowhunting Modern Elk" by Patrick Meitin. I think both of them have helped make me a better hunter.

Look for anything by Dwight Schuh or Larry D Jones. Real hunters who focus on hunting. Good luck and don't get seduced by accessories and gear; focus on real archery and you will enjoy the process much more.

Back Country Bow Hunting by Cameron Hanes is another good one in my opinion.

Bowhunting Modern Elk by Patrick Meitin is a great read! I still refer back to it often... thumbs up
