The Three Most Practical Exercises for Western Big Game Hunting...

Let's hear it, what do you think are the three most important exercises that a western big game hunter should be doing this spring before scouting season and shed season starts in full?

I have a few thoughts, but I want to hear all of your thoughts first

Walking/running lots and lots of stairs always seems to help me get ready for all the up and down inclines. I live in a pancake flat area of Nebraska so no hills to use in my workouts...

    Cardio
    Deadlifts
Healthy Eating in moderation (I know this is not an exercise, but Deadlifts are the best overall exercise that incorporate the entire body)
If I was hard-pressed to name a 3rd, it would be burpees.

those man makers some one put up a few years ago, work really well.
Basically go into plank with dumbbells in your hand, do a push up, do an arm raise for each arm, than burpee up and push the dumbells over your head, burpee back into plank and repeat.

My top 3, in order of importance:
-Hiking hills with a weighted pack
-Cardio - stationary bike, treadmill, or just running - as fast as I can, for as long as I can.
-Squats - Doesnt work as many muscles as dead lifting, but focuses more on the legs.

Shake weight is obviously #1, first and foremost... But, since that's so obvious, I didnt include it in the above.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
