    In Search of Some Books!

I have the Legendary Whitetails 1, 2, 3 and really like to look and read those. Anyone know of something similar that is about Muledeer, Antelope and Elk?

David Long just wrote a second book on mule deer, titled "The Edge". Its packed with mule deer information. If you haven't read Cam Hanes book, Backcountry Bowhunting, A Guide To The Wild Side, you should.

Check out American Buffalo by Steve Rinella. Not really a how-to book, but extremely interesting read on an American icon.

Public Land Mulies by David Long is a good read full of info, also like Cam Hanes Backcountry Bowhunting.

If you liked the Legendary Whitetail series you may want to check out some of the western states "biggest bucks" books such as Colorado's Biggest Bucks and Bulls, Wyoming's Finest Mule Deer, Utah's Biggest Bucks, and Idaho's Greatest Mule Deer to name a few. There are lots of photos and stories. Also, many of the western states such as Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada put out a record book with the top entries in several game categories. There are many photos and they're also good places to research for trophy quality areas.
Every hunting season you miss is one you can not make up.
