You can also purchase sound packages through allpredators.com at a reasonable price once you get familiar with the process. Lightning Jack is hands down my best producer.....

I have one of the originals with the TX-1 remote. I still use it 99% of the time and there is absolutely no telling how much stuff I have killed using this call.

I have the Fury with GX-7.

I HATE the over-complicated remote of the GX7.

If it was me, I would get the one I posted at the bottom and never look back.

Electronic calls...KEEP IT SIMPLE. Youll be glad you did.

Dont put 1378 calls on your electronic call either. Thats just silly.

I have killed 99% of the game with 10 calls on that electronic call.

You need the following in an electronic call:

    -On/off
    -Mute
    -Volume up/down
    -Channel up / down
    -Auxiliary on/off button

Anything more than that is just confusing and unnecessary in my opinion.

    Great price right now too...

Thanks everyone, the main use of this call will be for wolves.
It is funny, no desire for coyotes, but matching wits with a wolf is getting higher on the list. just wish I didn't love snowmobiling so much.

I actually like the more complicated TX-1000 remote I have. I like the larger screen mainly and the FoxBang feature that hits a kiyi for me when I shoot. I have had it stop a second coyote just long enough I could get a shot, I wouldn't have pulled off my first 4 coyote stand last fall without it. I have quite a few sounds with my call because it came with them but by using my Favorites/Presets folder I keep it manageable. I have 14 sounds in there with pre-set volume levels I use most of the time on stand. I like that so I don't screw up and have my volume on 30 from a howl when I switch to say a bird distress.

My biggest complaint about the Alpha Dogg I also have is the remote. It's just not as easy to use by feel, and I like to keep my eyes watching for coyotes and not on the remote.
