    yes i grow them here in SoCal but there not the same as Hatch chiles from NM

    Hatch chilis are the best. You can use them with just about anything and it will taste better.
    Here we are in Eagar, AZ on my bro's archery elk hunt in 2015. We took an afternoon out of the hunt when we saw the "chili guy" setting up.Click image for larger version.

    Elk pastrami, smoked 6hrs 25min @ 160, then turned up to 220 for 48min. Total time in the smoker, 7hrs 13min cooked to an internal temp of 150. Turned out absolutely amazing, will not be able to share with anyone I discussed this with!!!
