5 years ago today, I lost my Dad. He was 94 and lived a full, productive life. I miss him a lot, especially in the fall during hunting seasons. We hunted and fished together all his life from Canada to Mexico. He taught me how to be a man and all of the values and responsibilities that came with it. He was a great provider and family man to my Mom, my sisters and me. We both shared the Brotherhood of Masonry. RIP Pop, I'll see you again one day.

His spirit is obviously alive and well, until you meet again.

Loss of any one close to you is always hard. Looks like you have a lot of great memories to remember him by.
Congratulations to you for that, to many times people don't have any real amount of memories with their loved ones.

Knowing all that you have accomplished in your life Roger, I'm sure he's proud as heck of you! My dad passed 47 years ago and I miss him still.

Great memories and thanks for sharing them. I still hunt and spend time with my dad but lost my mom to a drunk driver 5 years ago this past August. She was 64.

I'm still lucky enough to have my folks. I was also taught to be a man and work hard for everything I have by him.

It will be a horrible day when his time comes.

CC I'm sorry you lost your dad.

There's nothing better than being in the outdoors with your sons. Just know that he enjoyed every moment he spent with you.
Live to hunt, hunt to live.
