The TTH was by far one of the coolest things I've ever done as far as pushing my self physicaly. I will indeed make it an annual thing. People showed up in numbers; competitors and family and friends hit the chair lifts to the top at 10'000 to enjoy a beautiful view over powder horn resort. The atmosphere, while competitive, was very friendly and everyone was supporting and cheering on everyone. Meeting as strangers and leaving as friends was not uncommon for anyone. I recomend everyone to sign up and do one of these. Don't let the shape your in stop you. Let it be your motivator to get back in shape. The goal focus is to get you mountain ready and that's what we all want. Ikeepitcold and Scott from hammer and chisel for the hunter and that group was vital to me for training. I didn't win any prizes or find my self on a podium but it was a huge success for me to be amongst some incredible athletes and holding my own Thanks to the support given by competitors and groups on face book and Eastmans for encouraging ethical fair chase hunting.

I was going to if there was one closer to home. Won't have alot of free time this next summer. Might try a Spartan in Boise or salt lake.

The Spartan races look pretty cool too. Takes out the Archery side of things but the courses look intense.
