How have the numbers and harvest been up there? Been thinking about making the trek for a few years. Should I choose another NW area? I have to apply for a preference point by March 15th, correct? Any crazy regs for public land camping I should be aware of? I won't be going until 2016 BTW...

Is the Warp Knit camo on Predator's website shiny? Is it breathable? I want something for bowhunting Midwest whitetails, but I don't want the sunlight shining off of me either. Or, sweating due to a non-breathable material.

I'm looking at getting the above mentioned rifle and work it up with a new stock and such. Problem is, there's been a lot of people saying to go with another brand nowadays. Is there any reason not to buy a new 700 SS to use as a rifle build?

First Post! I'm a traveling hunter and do most of my whitetail hunting in Ontario, WI and MN. Pressure is getting fierce though...everybody is playing follow the leader. So, I'm looking at possibly hunting N. Idaho in the next 2-3 years. Hows the pressure?
