    Danner boot question

Another thing you probably don't want to try, but you can fill them half full of water and freeze them, that'll stretch them out. Had a friend who use to swear by this, but he was a bit odd.

I tried something different with the gator. I based the meat with a spicy mustard, then rolled in flour with ground chayanne, seasonal salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and celery salt.

    2020 goals/desires

My son turns 12 this year, I have 2 simple goals that i'd love to achieve. Help him get his first antelope, and his first elk. Could give a crap less if I even fill a tag if we could get that done.

    WY Antelope Unit Info

Historically i'd look at the units SW of Casper that you listed, and north of I80. Great antelope all over that country, you won't go wrong with any of those tags.

Could of would of should of!

I won't disagree that saving points or money for a few big trips is always nice, but now that my kids are old enough to hunt the simple things are a lot of fun. Rabbit hunting for a few hours, turkey hunting, grouse hunting. You live in Missouri, i'd bet there's tons of fishing and hunting right...

    Sleeping bag fill???

Got a question about sleeping bag fill. Wanting to replace my -20 bag with at least a 0 bag. Pretty much there is no scenario that I won't be using the bag on a pad in some kind of a tent. Since I don't think it has much of a chance to get wet is regular down good? Treated pro down better? Or...

    Bullet Preference for Savage 111

My son's is an older Savage that was handed down to him from a grandparent. It was made sometime in the 1980's, that's when they bought it new. Really nice wood stock, smooth bolt, just a well put together rifle. You know, back when quality was number one regardless of price.

Something more to ponder during application periods

I'd suggest every NR make a stand against the WGFD, do not apply for any tags or buy any points. Show them whos boss!!! You don't need Wyoming's animals, you probably have better hunting in your home state...

Something more to ponder during application periods

Looking at those who have to put tag cost on a 21% card for up to 5 months. The total cost would be about $250.00. Plus the added cost forced to use the card. You could be looking at adding up to $300.00 total cost to a elk tag for some. Of course I all ways pay my balance before the due...

Something more to ponder during application periods

This is the way it should be and if I was a NR I'd be happy about it. Season tag quotas are set around the 20th of April, why would you want tags issued for areas in February before the winter is over and the biologist gets to adjust the tag allotments for each area? Two different cases that I...

    Finally...HS Internet!

Congrats on the upgrade! If you stream videos of any kind, Netflix to YouTube instructional videos you need 3meg for standard definition, 5 for HD, and 15-20 for 4kHD. So you'll be in good shape for awhile CC. I've always thought it would be cool to live in the time that power was brought into...
