    Wyoming Moose

I'm pretty close to the same boat as you and been looking pretty hard at 10. Don't know much about it, but thinking in just going to drive up there the year before the week after labor day and check it out.

New gun 300 win mag question

I'd rather have a cheap gun on a nice scope, than a cheap scope on a nice gun.

    Wyoming Elk with 12 Points

45 isn't what it once was. Like Toby Keith said, I ain't as good as I once was, but I was good once.

    Stock shortening

I cut my son's .410 down when he was about 8 because it was to long. Put a finish blade in the saw, took the back pad off, measured like 8 times and let er rip! Drilled new holes for the butt pad and screwed it back on. Just bring the saw blade down really slow.

Exploring new tech in big game recovery

That's the problem with the world today, we have to have a solution to fix everyone of our problems, we just can't fail. At all cost, at all expense, regardless of how over the top of might be, we must be successful... Sorry, we don't need to win at all costs, failure sucks, but failure makes...

Exploring new tech in big game recovery

Yea, I'll pass. That's part of the woodsmanship of being a hunter, accurateshooting, blood trailing, tracking. Can't do it without aerial backup then i don't know what to say.

    Guys in the market?

To answer one of your questions. I honestly don't understand how there can't be a crash, a large pull back, at a minimum a down turn. But here in Wyoming house prices continue to soar, vehicle prices continue to soar, and if unemployment numbers don't go through the roof, maybe the markets are...

    Guys in the market?

I worked with a guy who retired, then came back to work because he was just bored. This guy had done very, very well for himself. Right after 9/11 he freaked out and pulled all his money out of his mutual funds, over the course of 3 years of just leaving it sit he estimated from the original...

    Guys in the market?

Maybe? Maybe not? I understand the risk of letting it ride on a down turn that it looks ugly at times, but if you just leave it it'll come back along with the market in time. By leaving mine and actually continuing to add to it over the last year (buying in cheaper) my 5 year rate of return...

High country mulies 21' who's in??

This is the first year that I'm fully dedicated, for whatever reason I got bit hard by the bug last year. Already reread multiple books, piling over maps, got a list of bios and wardens to call.

    Point Creep

Maybe in 30ish years. If you just want to hunt there and don't care about what elk tag you have in your pocket, once you burn your points go with a type 2 or put in for a cow tag. At least you'd still get to experience elk hunting there. Good luck on whatever you decide!
