    Greenland muskox

An attorney I used to use in California had a full bodied Muskox in his office. Surprised me because 50 years ago (thats when it was) they were not very popular as a game animal.

What’s the Best Way to Start Firearm Training for Beginners?

You don't say what state you live in, but I would start with your state offered Hunter Safety course. That is just the basics and you can see what you want to further with. Go online to you state game & fish (or whatever it's called) and they can tell you when & where it is offered

The 40 acre deer refuge 2025

You are really cleaning them out! Funny story...... About 15 years ago we had an outbreak of skunks here. My neighbor back then was a retired USFS smoke jumper and he decided to thin them out. I loaned him my skunk live trap (not as tall so they can't lift their tail and spray). About a month...

    Noblie Damascus Knives

I went to the webpage and looked them over. Yep they are not tools, they are art. Way too pricey for my taste. I collect some western and native american art that I really like and display them in my home.....I'll stick to that.

    Greys River

I have never hunted Unit 90 in Wyoming. That being said I have a buddy who used to hunt it pretty regularly. He always used an outfitter and took some nice bulls. Pretty rugged and lots of Grizzleys where he hunted. The only reason he doesn't hunt it anymore is he is getting older and has MD in...

    Unit 72

I assume your talking about Wyoming and antelope tags. I have hunted both 72 & 74. For 20 years or so 72 has had a lot more tags. I also has more private land and I have always thought that was why. The last time I drew a 74 buck tag (about 5 or 6 years ago) I saw fewer animals that I have ever...

    Colorado Draw Results

Got my elk tag in the mail yesterday....4th season cow tag as a 3rd choice. If the weather cooperates, I'll get some good eating in the freezer. Should know next week about the secondary draw that I found a tag for a buck deer I could use too. It is a longshot, but like the lottery, you can't...

    Made the move

Did the same thing 25 years ago. We moved from southern California to sw Colorado. After 20 years of looking we had eliminated everything but 2.... Lander, Wyoming and Dolores, Colorado. My wife didn''t really like Lander as well as Dolores....too windy and too cold in the winter. I really liked...

WY Antelope & Deer Results Today

Nothing ever stays the same.... When I first started hunting Wyoming , I could buy 5 doe tags ( antelope or deer or combination) for $5.00 each in addition to a buck too. 7 animals, that is a lot of meat. We bought the doe tags at the local market, gas station or bar. That was around 1980.

    Secondary Draw

Went over all the tags available in the Secondary Draw and the only thing I saw that wanted was a buck deer tag. The unit I applied for a tag in has 7 left. Probably no chance, but you can't get one of them without applying.

Happy Fathers Day to my forever hunting partner. Dad got his last elk in 2008 when he was 90.
