Wednesday:
Back, Triceps & Traps

Been changing up all my exercises this week and doing a lot more super-sets. Trying to invigorate the CNS and Fast Twitch Muscle Fibers.
Also been incorporating a lot of speed work or busts into my running. That said, all this change in philosophy will get me away from the road hunters faster! Ha Ha Ha

After my five days all body in a row, i didnt recover correctly yesterday. Didnt hydrate enough, didnt eat well. Feeling it today.
Im gonna reset and rest again. Correctly. This getting old crap sucks.

This up/down weather creates havoc on sinus pressure...
I like the short warm up period during winter, but I honestly wish that when it gets cold, it'd stay cold! Easier on sinus issues.

IMHO the best workout is climbing mountains with a pack during the off season. Don't get me wrong as I do cardio and strength training but it is that uneven stepping, uneven terrain and need to keep you balance when moving up a mountain that I find most help. Plus, you get a little scouting in at then same time.

Just got back from a week in the Bahamas, gained a few lbs haha. Ran 4 miles in the snow and ice this morning and it felt great. Hunting seasons are mostly over, time to start getting back to serious training. 1st Spartan race is <3 months away.
