What glue is the best for fletching on wraps? Also what are the advantages and disadvantages of overlap? I have been experimenting and just had some wrapped arrows that had no overlap, using NPV glue, only last for about 150 shots. The wrap peeled back from the seam, at the fletching. I fletched so the seam ran between two fletchings. Maybe I should have spaned the seem with a fletching? Maybe the glue tightened the wrap and caused it to peel away?

I have been using plain old super glue with my blazer vanes and blazer wraps and never had a problem. I put a vane on the seam just for added insurance.

Gorilla super glue. Cheap stuff from the hardware store with blue lid works good and has some give to it

Thanks everyone! My axis 340 are giving me about an 3/32" overlap. I am placing the cock vane right over the overlap. I believe now that my problem was the lack of overlap, but only field testing will determine that.

Also, without trying to offend anyone's preference, I think maybe since everyone seems to have a favorite glue, that the glue bond was not my problem. If glue bonding was a big issue, I think most folks would gravitate to the superior glue. Since many folks have luck with many types of glue, most glues must be adequate.
I am strickly speaking in terms of glue-wrap application. I'm sure bare shaft is a whole other ball game.

Do any veteran arrow builders out there think otherwise?
