Hunting has brought a tremendous amount of joy to my life. There are only a few weeks a year, I am not involved with something hunting related. Shed hunting kicks off in January for deer and runs through mid May for elk. By that time, I’m a month into Turkey season, which rolls into bear season thru mid June. Some down time until mid July when scouting kicks in until archery opener of September 1st, then hunting season will carry through the end of November. Then some freezer management hunts in December, if needed. In all of my hopes and desires, I only wish for one... My children will carry a similar passion and want to hunt with their dad someday. That will be success.
