Dead elk around the snowies?

I have a buddy that was planning a private land elk hunt this year in 411, but landowners told him they have recently found a lot of dead elk. Anyone hear anything about this?

I have a buddy that was planning a private land elk hunt this year in 411, but landowners told him they have recently found a lot of dead elk. Anyone hear anything about this?

I have heard of some but nothing major yet. That herd got pressured really late this year so I'm sure it has taken a toll on them. There were still quite a few people trying to fill their tags late in January.
