I drew the premium/multi-season bear permit for the La Sal unit in Utah. Does anyone have some experience with the "bear lollipop" for bait? I'd like to give it a try & have a few questions. Thank you!

Never heard of that before.
I’ve seen Cam Hanes use bear crack before. Sterno to heat a mixture of red jello, syrup and marshmellows. It seemed to work well.

Where can I find the instructions to the bear crack? Or is it as simple as mixing those 3 things together & heating them up?

In the spring I’ve had more luck with meat for bait early in the season. Than used popcorn because it’s light. Bears never seemed to keen on the sweets in the spring. In the fall they liked the sweets a lot more.
