what about lunch?
I done a few backpack trips and I am always struggling to figure out what I should do for lunch. If I eat light and eat trail mix, granola and so on I get hungry pretty early. I really dont want to get the stove out and cook up a dehydrated meal. I was thinking about going to a italian deli and getting some real hard salami,slicing it and vacuum sealing for individual sandwiches. Then pack pita and mustard packets. I've heard of guys packing bacon also. How long would the salami last in a pack? What do you guys think any other ideas?
