Now it's got 140,000 miles (I only average 9k per year) and the body is starting to rust along the bottom and wheel wells. Looking at getting a 2011 dodge crewcab with the 5.7 hemi and about 100,000 miles on it. Never owned a dodge, and wondered if you guys had any opinions on it. Especially how many miles it will be good for.

I drive a 01 Toyota 4 runner with rock guards, 2 hella lights, upgraded bumper, upgraded skid plate, new suspension for off-road and rock crawling and some Goodyear mud terrains. My dad got it and now I drive it. But once I get paid for helping work on our jeep, I am looking at getting a late 80's or 90's f150, or a dodge ram 1500. Something I can lift and make it my own truck for doing everything.

I finally down sized from a Dodge 4X4 Cummins diesel and went with a 03 Toyota 4runner. Just lifted it 2 inches, added a tranny cooler, and now looking for some taller tires...a work in progress.

If I am solo or just have one other with me I usually take what the family calls the 'Ol Mule. It's a '98 Chevy 3/4 ton standard cab with the 6.5 diesel engine, it doesn't worry about scratches, dents or getting dirty. If I take the family or go on extended trips I take the '01 Ford F350 crew cab with the trusty 7.3, I have to be more careful when I take the family truck. By the way, they are both white for a reason.

I drive a 06 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab. 200k on a gas job with no problems other then an exhaust leak is pretty good. I heard Toyota might be offering there Tundra with a Cummings diesel in 2017 so that might be my replacement.

Not that I have any special allegiance, but I sure do like my '95 Jeep Cherokee. Convenient that my daily driver, my bad weather driver, and my hunting rig are all the same vehicle. And I can stretch right out and sleep in the back if I'm waiting in line for a morning duck hunt at Sauvie Island.
