Brave Rifles & Toujours Pret!
Can't for the life of me understand why someone would have as many as 26 for elk and 24 for deer as NO units in the state require that many.

I wonder what the guy with 26 points is waiting for?
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Hell to freeze over!!!
I wondered about this a couple of years ago. I think it is a father waiting for his son to get enough points, or a non hunting spouse who puts in for the tag by a hunting spouse, or someone who is putting in for a deceased relative??? It is strange as to why it happens.
Hes buying points so everyone can talk about him..............

I think far too many hunters equate high demand units (lots of PP's needed) with high probability of trophy critters. Most will be disappointed when they finally draw. JMO.

I met the guy with max deer points. He is a really good guy and know's his stuff. He buys 3rd season deer tags in the Gunnison Valley every year. He is waiting to burn the points on a 4th season tag in that area once the herd bounces back.
