I love sheep stories sfjeepers! Beautiful ram, the score does not do him justice. Congrats and welcome to the forum.

I am planning on hunting desert sheep in Arizona this year….that is if they give me my tag

Now that's what I am talking about. Great story. Glad they were able to let you hunt.

Sfjeeper, I remember seeing your RAM when we stopped by your camp. Congrats it's a nice ram! Bigshot and I were the ones helping Elbert, on his DIY hunt. We ended up getting on a couple nice rams the next day but couldn't get Elbert to close the deal. even though it wasn't my tag I still had a blast chasing sheep out there in the desert . It was an awesome experience that I was grateful to be a part of. Congrats again on your desert Big Horn.

I thought that it was you because of the thread with you and bigshot describing Elbert's trip. I was sorry to hear that he was unable to fill his tag. I was really rooting for him.

first off congrats! I have two questions
    1. in 2013 there was one tag and 841 applicants did you get any phone calls with offers to buy your tag?
    2. was it worth the thousands of dollars for a guide? just curious because I read about the guy from Riverside in 2011 that did his own scouting and saw sheep opening day
