Just popped on some new Slick Tricks last weekend and man am I impressed! Popped off the field point and put on the broadhead and saw no difference in the arrow flight or accuracy. I jumped out to 50 pretty quick. I have never felt this comfortable shooting a broadhead. I have always shot Muzzy's and would always have to make adjustments once the broadhead went on. I am no bow expert especially when it comes to tuning and whatnot but this experience really excited me and I am feeling great about my shot confidence. One week until I'm out chasin mulies!!
After my last hunting trip, I'm digging the slick trick standard 100gr.
In my personal opinion you have selected three of the vert best heads available.
No bad choice either way.
I will be trying the SlickTrick 125s this season.
Just purchased 12 of the Shuttle T's. I heard they were the cats meow for elk. I'll let you know how they shoot, and when I have my bull on the ground, how good the blood was, etc.
I shot shuttle T's last year, and the shot great.. Started shooting broadheads about 2 weeks ago, and couldn't get the heads to group for anything.. I really didn't want to change anything on my bow, since field points were shooting so well, so I bought a pack of Ulmer Edges.
They. Are. Awesome.
Probably more accurate than my field points. I can't wait to run one through a big ol buck or bull.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
I was out shooting yesterday afternoon and I cant get over how well the SlickTrick 125 Magnums shoot with 2" Blazer vanes!! At 60 yds I couldn't shoot the same dot on the target for fear of messing up other arrows. I like the fact that the blades are almost twice as thick as other brands of broadheads.
