    That is one great sheep. But I have concerns......

    I have never really been in favor of animals found dead qualifying for the record book. I just feel that to be listed as a true trophy, it should have been taken during a fair chase hunt, not found dead. Just my hangup I guess.

    Id prefer a deadhead becoming a world record than a Denny Austad Mossback animal becoming one...just my personal thought though. At least that animal died of age instead of being watched and hounded by a pack of mossbacks crew waiting for the HIGH paying customer

    Im looking forward to hearing the score of this one...HUGE is about all i can say. Sure doesn't help me get away from my minor sheep addiction ever since i got my OIL sheep in Idaho in 07'

    I agree! I thought Boone and Crockett, pope and young, or record animals was for harvested animals not an animal found dead of old age. I also don't agree or would ever pay thousands for a hunt to shoot an animal that has been watched for years just waiting for the highest bidder to harvest him, but each to his own. I'm not dissing anyone who has hired a guide, just think an animal found dead shouldn't be in the same class as a fair chase animal. IMHO!!
