My 4 year old son came to me yestday after noon with his camo pants on and camo shirt on and said that i got my long underwear on could we go hunting. My wife looked at me and said you guys better go. So i packed up my pack with water and a snack and relized i sent my nikon binos in and my swaros havent showed up yet so all we had was my rangefinder and took my gun for coyotes and went on a little hike. Thought i would post a pic of him.

That's awesome, bring a tear to my eye if I had kids and they took to hunting like I did.

I'm a father of two boys and an avid hunter... It is much harder these days to keep kids involved in the outdoors. The electronic distractions are really amazing! IMO you are doing it right- start them as early as you can and go anytime they want to go.
