    KUIU sleeping bags

    http://blog.kuiu.com/2014/02/05/supe....7y0uHv6U.dpbs

Sweet Lord. I need a $700 sleeping bag like I need another hole in my head!
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

Wow, that's a lot of cash on a bag! I spent around $400 or $500 on my BA Pomer Hoit a few years ago and thought that was ridiculous! Can't imagine paying 700 bones! Probably a good bag though!

Its and expensive piece of kit for sure. Just about every company has their top of line stuff that keeps getting more expensive.

In all seriousness, Kuiu is doing a simulcast to talk about the bag on Tuesday. Any of you going to watch?

I saw the email also, I'm not in the market for a bag. It was tough to bring myself to cough up the coin for a used slik bag. I think kuiu is definitely targeting a small niche of folks with this product but more power to em if they grab up some sales. After watching the birth of kuiu and all the changes over the years I find myself deleting more and more emails before opening them.. I think alot of manufacturers could glorify there product material specs and raise awareness like kuiu does. I give alot of respect to their marketing/graphic design team. They cover the bases from start to finish with new product details, pics, and eye appeal.
