    Unit 29 Antelope

First off let me say hello. I've been on the forum before, but never as a member. It seems like a great resource for information.

Does anyone have any experience with archery hunting antelope on public land in unit 29? Is there a lot of pressure? Are there water hole oppurtunities? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My dad and I have tags for unit 29 and are planning on heading out there next month. It'll be the first time for both of us hunting antelope with a bow and my dad's first bow hunt in 15 years. I had a family member (a WY resident) assure me he could help out with land access before we drew tags, but that didn't work out so we're looking for a plan B which appears to be public land.

    Thanks again

There is a lot of grassland out there and a lot of water this year we had 3 or 4 good rain storms that flooded everything. We had to shutdown the pits at the coal mines out there because we had so much rain. I've never seen that much water out there and I've lived here for 25 years
