I don't see a reason for it to get ugly...just agree with me and all will be fine

Actually I believe that I am very open-minded on this subject as long as everyone else agrees with my position exactly! With that said, the only true way of establishing a true "never exceed" distance is this...
On any standard atmospheric day with calm wind, take the average of three(or more) solid throws of a preselected buffalo chip through a chronograph at precisely 12 feet from the apex of your throwing arm and square it.
Take that velocity squared and divide by 450400 and multiply times the weight of the buffalo chip. This will provide the Kinetic energy of the chip.
Next, calculate the distance that you personally can throw the chip and multiply that by 3. If any animal is beyond that distance, it's too far! Works every time! Don't forget to compensate for density altitude before hand.
I swear, can never get through one of these threads without a bunch of chip slinging.
NOOOOOOOOOOO! Stop this thread while you can! Please no one else post! Discussing this topic is like hopping on a train to disaster. This thread needs to be destroyed immediately.
