Bryan Martin's ram is absolutely spectacular and Guy's was beautiful as well. Bryan's dad was key on my wife's 2012 Oregon California Bighorn sheep hunt. He put us in touch with at the landowner who's ranch we hunted on.

    Sweet video.

I always like how they show older clips of Gordon. It shows true Eastman pride of their heritage. I wish my Grandfather was a hunter like that. My Grandpa sat on the front porch smoking cigarettes complaining about technology ruining the world. lol

    Well done!

Hello 6MM. Thanks for watching the film. The meat from a marco is very good. Tastes just like Dall's sheep, super mild and slightly sweet. It was a little bit tougher than a Dall's sheep as far as consistency however. The Tajik's are not very good culinary artisans so it was probably the way it was prepared if I had to guess. You can't bring any meat back with you, so I have not had the chance to throw some on my own grill.

It could also be the time of year, Dall's sheep meat in August versus a Marco in November pre-rut.

I hope this helps to answer your question. Good luck in the draws this year fellas.

Unbelievable hunt and ram! Congrats to all involved. Well, I am saving up for a Tajikistan flight and hunt for a ram myself! Who's coming with me? Hahaha
