    I've caught a number of beaver in the 60-65 lb. range but never anything that big.

    That is most definitely a monster! My biggest tipped the scales at 82lbs and I have caught many that went in the 60's over the years.

    Wow, that thing is a toad. My best was in high school at 66lbs. And a several 50-60lbs. Congrats!

    Most definitely know about what work is when it comes to beaver! I always joke that the fun ends once you take one out of the trap! LOL
    I have caught north of 300 in a year so, have spent my fair share of time out in the fur shed...

    That's no joke! All these amazing advancements in materials and designs that allow you to carry an elk out of a canyon on your back, but trappers still have the equivalent of a woven laundry hamper on their back. 300 in a year? You crushed it!
