I am the Deputy Head Sewer Operator at a wastewater plant in SE Wisconsin. First job out of college and that was 12 1/2 yrs ago. May sound funny, but I do enjoy my job. Most days anyways. I should be promoted to Head Operator a year from now. The amount of biology, chemistry, and engineering that goes into wastewater treatment is far greater thank what the majority of people I talk to have any clue about. I also have my own business operating two other wastewater plants.

6 years USMC, 25 years as a police officer, 5 years federal court security for the US Marshall's. After retirement, I worked some carpentry jobs, seasonal smokechaser for the MN DNR, a stint as a wilderness therapy instructor, and finally my dream job for the last seven summers as a wilderness canoeing guide for the Boy Scout High Adventure program in the US and Canada. The last two years I was the "Brigade Leader" training midshipmen from the US Naval Academy. Now I consider myself to be an unemployed hunting and fishing bum.

Very interesting career. I like the last one the best.

I'm looking to scale back and go to part time work sometime fairly soon and am recruiting for a replacement so have her send me a resume. Unless she likes to hunt, and would want time off anytime from September through early December, in which case I wouldn't want her around, no matter what she looks like.
