    so was it an avalanche or just a winter kill and the snow was that deep when it died???
    I "suspect" the latter. hard to say but my guess is she simply fell (maybe slipped on icy snow)got tangled around the tree and couldn't get up. then snow melted leaving her suspended in tree


    and why is she so happy?????probly was glad to end the suffering of a long winter.

    pretty cool though.

    It couldn't of been much of a avalanche since a lot of the ground cover is still around the area. Where I live the avalanches take everything out all the way to the bottom, all that grows in them is small bushy plants.
