    Burger, breakfast sausage & brats.

Bacon ends and pieces is all I've used for years in my sausages and chorizo. We have made excellent breakfast, Italian, chorizo sausages ect. out of bear, turkey, wild boar, javelina, deer, elk and antelope, all with the ends and pieces as the fat content. Really makes for excellent finished...

Help me decide what to do with 30 Utah elk points!

Good to hear things are going good. I've hunted a couple of the other units in UT with my MZ. If you're interested just PM me. It's cool that your wife got another sheep, that's awesome! I was thinking you had a NZ tag/tags that you won; how did your hunt go?

    Applications are open

My hunting schedule if already overloaded for the year, so just points for everything besides sheep and goat! If I draw one of those I'll figure out how to make it happen :)!

    Utah Applications are Open

Good luck on the Bison tag. We had a great time on my brothers' hunt last year! I saw a few nice bucks while there also :). My hunting schedule got jam packed early, so I will put in for only the OIL and extreme long shots this year. I think I'm ready to pull the trigger on using my deer and...

AZ CC Getting Hit for Elk

Looks like I'll be going elk hunting in AZ. Probably the late season again, but I put a long shot first choice, so we will see when the results officially come up on the portal :)

    What’s Everyone Doing?

Working to build leave time and save money for a busy spring and fall hunting season. Also trying to keep up with all these grand kids! Just had two more grandsons born within a month of each other and found out we have another one on the way from my other son. We have 8 of those little...

    Choices on application?

Yes, They look at the first three choices if they draw your name/number. The first choice of the three that is available in the order you put them down you will draw. If none of your choices are available, they will move on to the next person.

    What’s your New Years Resolution?

House is in, shop is usable with exterior about 80% finished. So mine is pretty basic: Now that we are out of the fifth wheel, I'll try to slow down just a bit and just pick away at the rest of the projects; so I can take more time to enjoy family and the property a little more while doing my...

    Tag fees

Not worth it to me most years (since there is another option). I think it will make the special/regular gap much bigger(at least for awhile). I will stay with the regular though, as I've always done and just plan on drawing a little less in WY. For now at least, there are still lots of options...

    Bipod or Shooting Stick

I use a Harris Bi-Pod. I really didn't like the weight out front at first, but have gotten used to it. It has definitely been used a ton. Putting it up and down becomes somewhat second nature and is very fast. I use it every time I am glassing or sitting on stand just to keep my gun handy and...
