Very nice job.
South Dakota has no mule deer...............................................anywhere..................................... :)
Been full time firefighter for about 7 years now. Live in Rapid City, SD. I went to CO on elk hunt last year. Had a blast without filling my tag. Plan on going elk hunting next year. This year it...
Thank you Muck Boots for the chance to win these. I hunt the creek that runs outside of our town for turkeys and deer. Being able to cross this with boots I wouldnt have to worry about getting wet or...
Ya the yotes are pretty thick out here. Havent had time to get out since December for them. Now with the snow and low temps it should be getting good right before the mating season.
Awesome job guys. Hoping to make it out this week once I get back to SD.
Ive used nockturnals here in SD, switched last year to no lighted nocks for Colorado elk. Will be getting tuned back in with them for turkey season.
Very nice looking set up.
This is a great way to start!
Just used this trying to see what land I drove by on way to Colorado this weekend.
Too bad I just bought the vortex viper 85 mm last month. I wouldve grabbed this one instead.
Welcome to the forum.
send me a pm. ill be out scouting the hills in March and can point you in the right direction. If you are looking for somewhere to stay I would try to do it centrally around Keystone or Hill City....
Very cool. How far was the shot?
Congrats on a great cat!
Great job to the both of you.
That is crazy! Need this wind to die down out here in SD so I can go out and help control the population.
Points again this year. Hoping for next year as well.
I'm guessing 70-73. Tips curl in looking at least double ear length. Ok mass and great cutters. Definite shooter with a bow.
The Alaska DNR website has a ton of great info. Cabins are cheap to rent from their state sight. Taking a ferry from Juneau to Ketchikan also brings down the price. The hard part I've found is...
Thanks Scott. I pulled my issue out and read. Vortex razor seems like a good choice.
I'm faced with this same predicament. $1000 is my limit for a new spotter. I've found demo versions of the viper 85 mm and razor 65 in my price range. Weight and size is not an issue as much for me....
sent pm. perhaps I wont by the razor after all.
I'm going for the straight. More natural feel for me.
Go pro hero with chest harness, and gun/bow mount.
