Hey guys..its application season! Hope everyone is having good luck. I know Region H in WY was hit hard in 2023 with winterkill. My son and I have the points to draw...does anyone have an opinion or advice for us to try and apply this year 2024?? This would be a diy hunt...I've heard people...

I’m unsure what to do with my points or if my points will be enough with tag reductions. I was advised that possibly there would still be a good amount of mature deer that survive in H this year and to still apply…what’s your opinion on applying sir??

Thanks for the reply..I went on a hunt in Montana for elk in a general unit and there was rigs at every access point/parking area/trail head..and lots of them. It wasn’t a good experience bc of all the people plus had trouble finding elk. I guess if the deer are easy to find..it could be a...
