Here's the Moose I took in October. Just over 50" wide. It's the biggest one I saw while hunting or scouting. I have a couple live pics of him in velvet but they aren't that great. Great hunt!

I'd sure like to know what it scores. The taxidermist say's he doesn't know how to score it so I'm not sure he'll try. I looked at the score sheets online and it looks really confusing to me. Maybe I should get an official B&C scorer to measure it? I'm not a big score guy...but I'm still curious!

Don't be intimidated by the score sheet, moose are pretty easy to score. I did mine, and came within a few inches of the official pope and young measurer. Congratulations on a beautiful trophy.

That moose deserves to be scored. He looks like he could book to me. It really depends on where the scorer finds the palm length line parallel to the inner palm edge. That is a really nice bull.

Good job finding a monster bull.
For sure put a tape on him and let us know.

I agree. I think it's a great tribute to the animal and honor to have them entered into the B&C record book. He sure is a beautiful moose!!

What a great bull! Congrats. Just wondering if you ever got it scored?

I never did. I've got it back from the taxidermist. I scored it myself before I hung it on the wall just out of curiosity and came up a little over 150. His paddle width is lacking and none of his upper points are score-able. Not that I really care about the score, he was the biggest I saw.

How many points did you have? I have seen some biggun's in there. I am still sitting on max points. Maybe someday! Great bull and thanks for sharing him with us!

Heck of a bull!! That looks like it would be a long pack pack out with that big old set of antlers on your back!
