View Full Version : Has anyone filmed their own backcountry hunt?

Never in Doubt

I was thinking how much of a challenge it would be to film myself hiking in 8-20 miles at 10,000+ elevation while hunting for mule deer this upcoming year.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I think it could be done with minimal expense. There's some nice, small video cameras to be had to around $120 or so...

Any suggestions on cameras and gear?

Have you ever checked out Campbell Cameras? They specialize in outfitting hunters with video equipment and have lots of different options available. It's a complicated topic if you're not super familiar with the camera models, but apparently their staff is really helpful with setting you up for whatever budget you have and style of hunting you do.
