Hey guys new to this forum but long time fan of Eastmans.

I have 10 points for Colorado deer. I prefer bow hunting. But don't know how I want to use my points I have hunted Colorado for 21 straight years but mostly for elk.
I don't know much about the deer units. With the points I have I can bow hunt any unit except 10 Should I keep saving for 10 or go this year to another unit. Which unit would y'all pick for Bow hunting muleys? I don't have a partner with the same points as me so I might have to go alone.
Should I use an outfitter?
My brother has 13 elk points so it's possible that we could draw the same unit and go together but I will be burning points if I do. I am clueless about the better draw units can any body steer me in the right direction ? Thanks.

I would personally do a rifle hunt since you have so many points. You can draw an early season high elevation rifle tag in several units with that many points. Then next year put in for archery since it doesn't take many points to draw most archery units. I think a lot of the "trophy" units can be over rated. If you get in deep in a wilderness area you can hunt trophy deer with 0 points with a bow. just my 2cents

I agree with Chad. I would go for a Unit 74 Early Rifle with that number of points. If you are deadset on archery, a Unit 61 tag would be my top choice. Both these hunts should offer a high quality experience as well as a chance at a monster muley.
